Uploading a tree to Ancestry®
From any page on Ancestry, click the Trees tab and select Create & Manage Trees. On the next page, click Upload a GEDCOM file beneath your list of trees. On the Upload a Family Tree page, click Choose File or Browse. Select the GEDCOM file you want to upload and click Open.
How do I download DNA from Family Tree DNA?
Family Tree DNA makes the raw results file from your Family Finder test available for you to download. To download your raw results: Sign in to your myFTDNA account. On the menu bar, click myFTDNA > MyDNA > Family Finder > Download Raw Data.
Can you print your AncestryDNA results?
From any page on Ancestry®, click the DNA tab and select DNA Story. at the top of the page. Click Your DNA Results to print a one page summary of your results or Your DNA Story to print a detailed report, then click Next.
Where can I upload my ancestry DNA results?
If you’ve undergone DNA testing, you should be able to download your raw DNA data and upload it to other DNA upload sites for additional analysis.

Will I lose my family tree if I cancel ancestry com?
Unless you delete them, any trees you’ve created in your account will remain on the site whether or not you have a membership. As a registered guest, you’ll be able to do the following with your tree: Adding and removing people and photos.

We’re happy to announce another industry first from MyHeritage! We now support the upload of 23andMe v5 and Living DNA data files, in addition to supporting data uploads from all major DNA testing services, including Ancestry, 23andMe (prior to V5) and Family Tree DNA (Family Finder).
How long until I get my AncestryDNA results?
You can expect your results within eight weeks of the date the laboratory receives your sample. In order for the laboratory to process your sample, you must activate your kit. Activating your kit means connecting your DNA sample to your Ancestry account.
Does AncestryDNA mail your results?
After you mail in your AncestryDNA® test you’ll receive your results through your online Ancestry® account in about six to eight weeks. No test results are physically mailed.
What will AncestryDNA tell me?
What do my results tell me? Your AncestryDNA® results include information about your genetic ethnicity estimates and, if you’ve chosen to see your matches and be listed as a match, identifies potential DNA matches, linking you to others who have taken the AncestryDNA® test.
